About Shawn

My passion began at 13 by taking photos of family and friends and I always seemed to have a camera glued to my hands. My love for photography grew when I had my two beautiful daughters and wanted nothing more than to capture every moment with them. After being encouraged by my husband I went on to do various workshops, online courses and lots of practice. I specialize in natural light photography in Elk Grove, CA. I’ve had the privilege of photographing the most special moments of seniors about to graduate, couples, newborns, baby milestones, and family portraits.

I always look forward to meeting new people through my business and preparing for their sessions. I not only get the joy of taking photos that will be shared with friends and family for years to come, but I also pick, edit, personalize, and make a complete gallery for them after our session together. It is my goal as a photographer to capture these special moments and genuine emotions by helping with the whole process along the way and giving you the most personalized experience possible.

My favorite style of photography is the light and airy look. I love the bright rich colors and strive to find great lighting that enhances the photos I take.
