“We asked Shawn to help us capture the first year of our little guys life! This was a big commitment as we wanted to do pictures every three months for the 1st year (3 mo, 6 mo, 9 mo, and 12 mo). Shawn was great with scheduling and we were able to get the pictures right around each milestone. We were so IN LOVE with the pictures from each session! We got great ones from his 9 mo pictures we were able to use for his 1st birthday party invitation. At the 12 mo Shawn also included a cake smash session which was SO much FUN and we got the BEST photos! “Our experience with Shawn Spencer Photography for family portraits was simply outstanding from beginning to end! When I first reached out to Shawn to inquire about a fall photo session, she replied promptly and gave clear information about scheduling. As part of the booking process, she included a detailed questionnaire in order to get a sense of who we are and what we were hoping to get from the session. Throughout the planning process, Shawn was always responsive and provided a lot of helpful information, such as comprehensive guides to assist with location and outfit selections. I found the guides to be a great resource and appreciated Shawn’s attention to detail and professionalism in providing them to her clients. During the actual session, Shawn’s easygoing and friendly demeanor put us right at ease. She radiates warmth and kindness, and that helped us relax. She was also very patient with our younger child who was not particularly interested in standing still and smiling for the camera. Our hour-long session flew by and we had a great time! At the end of the session, Shawn gave estimates for when we could expect sneak peeks and the full gallery. We received our images well before the estimated timeframe and we were INCREDIBLY happy with them!! Our main goal was to get images for our Christmas card, and we had so many to choose from! Our session was definitely a success!! Overall, we had a fantastic experience!! For future family portraits and our children’s senior portraits down the road, we will most certainly return to Shawn!”
