I had the best time shooting Emma Medina's senior portraits recently. Emma holds a special place in my heart as not only is she a lovely young lady, but she also happens to be my newborn assistant and a talented budding photographer herself. It's been wonderful watching her grow and develop her skills as she assists me during newborn sessions. When her mom, Danielle, asked me to capture Emma's senior year, I couldn't have been more excited!
We picked Laguna Town Hall for the shoot, and let me tell you, it was the perfect magical spot for Emma’s photos. With all the greenery, flowers, and water, it was like stepping into a photographer's paradise. Emma's outfit choices were spot-on too. She rocked jeans and a black shirt with Doc Martens, totally owning that cool, laid-back vibe. Then she switched it up with a stunning sage green dress and heels that looked incredible against the garden backdrop.
We had a blast during the shoot, blasting Taylor Swift and just having a good time. Emma even threw on her cap and gown to mark her upcoming graduation from American Christian Academy. It was a mix of excitement for the future and a nod to the journey she's been on.
And let me tell you, Emma's got some serious talent behind the lens. I've seen her work, and she's already blowing me away. I have no doubt she's going places in the photography world.
Thanks, Emma, for letting me capture your amazing spirit and style. It was such a fun day, and I can't wait to see what's next for you, especially as you head off to Sacramento City College in the fall. Keep being awesome!
