Sister photo session at Jack Hill Park in Elk Grove

Sister Sister

Lauren and Reider are fraternal twins who are about to turn 20.  For their birthday gift, Lauren said she wanted to do a special sister portrait session.  She explained to me that they really havenā€™t done photos since they were little kids, and it meant a lot to her to get some updated portraits as adults.  Per their mom, Joanna, they are as different as night and day and that growing up, their peers had a hard time believing they were twins.  Lauren likes to dress up, wears dresses, skirts, blouses but can also be chill and comfy.  She likes to sing, read, is very studious and takes academics seriously. She is about to start her senior year at UCSD and is pursuing a political science degree. Reider hates dresses and wears t-shirts and comfy pants.  She is a gamer, collects comic book/graphic novels, and plays Dungeons & Dragons (DND) weekly with friends.  She is funny without knowing she is funny and is very stubborn. She is continuing her education at Cosumnes River College and is still deciding on what she wants to do. Although she wasnā€™t into the session, she knew her sister wanted it and so she was such a sport about the whole session.  We went to Jack Hill Park and I love the way these sneak peek photos turned out.
