Danica's Radiant Senior Session: Unforgettable Moments at Davis Arboretum

Senior Photos Elk Grove California

Photographing high school seniors as they prepare to close one chapter and embark on a new adventure has always been a highlight for me. It's even more special when it's someone I've known and watched grow over the years. I've known Danica, a Bradshaw Christian student, for a few years now. I've seen her participate in sports with my niece and have even subbed in some of her classes. She is the sweetest and most amazing young lady.

Her photo session was an absolute blast. Right from the start, I knew it would be unbelievable. Danica was at ease throughout the entire session and was such a natural in front of the camera. She needed hardly any direction on posing—she just did her thing, and it was awesome. Her mom Sherri and brother Samuel were on hand to be her cheerleaders and to help with her outfits and props. We even incorporated some poses with Danica and Samuel, as well as a few family shots.

Danica chose the Davis Arboretum for her location, and it did not disappoint. We discovered some new spots and setups that perfectly matched her vibe and style. Her choice of outfits was fun and spot-on with both the location and her personality. She started with a beautiful floral blue sundress, then changed into blue jeans with three different tops to add variety to her images—a pink sweater, a green sweater, and a black tank with a white blouse tied in the front. Each outfit looked beautiful and made each location pop. She finished the session in her cap and gown, and we had some fun with her blowing glitter.

Danica graduates in a couple of weeks from Bradshaw Christian High School and will be attending Northern Arizona University to study Communication Science and Disorders (Speech Pathology). Her goal is to become a Speech Pathologist in a school setting or a non-profit for children with special needs.

Danica, your session was incredibly fun, and I feel so blessed to do this as my job. I love interacting with seniors and their families, having a great time, and capturing beautiful images that encapsulate their high school experience. Danica, I wish you all the best in your future. I know God has an amazing path for you, and I can't wait to see where He takes you!
