From Bumps to Blooms: Jaylah's Picture-Perfect Debut!

Nothing brings me more joy than seeing my clients return, and the Medina family holds a special place in my heart. I first had the pleasure of capturing Mariah's first daughter, Mylah, from her newborn session to her 1-year cake smash. Recently, I had the privilege of photographing the entire family and documenting the end of Mariah's maternity journey before welcoming their newest addition.
On April 30, 2024, at 7:20 pm, Jaylah Cecilia Medina made her grand entrance into the world, weighing 6lbs 6oz and measuring 19” long. She's an absolute sweetheart! Mariah brought little Jaylah into the studio this week, and let me tell you, we had a blast together. Jaylah was an absolute doll, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment spent with her. It was such a joy to experiment with new poses, props, and wrapping techniques during our session.
Mariah had one simple request: flowers. With the theme of "Baby in Bloom" for both the baby and the nursery, we incorporated various floral elements into the session, and the results were incredibly sweet. Jaylah seemed happiest when snugly wrapped, like a bug in a rug! I still can't believe that I have the privilege of welcoming these precious little ones into the world as their first professional photographer. I truly adore what I do.
