Fall Family Portrait Session at Jack Hill Park

I can usually tell right away if a family group is going to be a fun and upbeat group. This session was no exception. From the moment I met Serina, Eddie, and their blended family I knew we would have a great time during their family portrait session.
Serina had reached out to me about scheduling an extended family session and explained that her whole family would be together for the upcoming wedding of her son and his fiancé and wanted to do some fall family photos of everyone together a couple of days before the wedding. We met at Jack Hill Park in Elk Grove, and even though the fall colors weren’t quite visible yet, it still made for a really great backdrop for this beautiful family. They all wore bright and vivid fall colors for their outfits, and they complimented each other so well. Though it was 96 degrees out they were all troopers and laughed and had a great time together.
Serina’s grandbabies were so adorable, and Maverick and Amelia (AKA MIMI) were a hoot. It is always funny to see grown adults standing behind me acting crazy to try getting little kids to laugh and smile. We took our time to make sure we captured all the poses that were important to Serina and Eddie and even did some fun crazy ones with all of their kids. I think the photos capture the love this family has for each and I am so happy with the golden warm light that is present in the images.
