Capturing Golden Memories: The Cutler Family's Portrait Session at Jack Hill Park

As a photographer, one of the best parts of my job is meeting new families. I love getting to know them and having a great time during our photo sessions. Typically, my clients are local to the greater Sacramento region and find me in various ways. However, every once in a while, I get to work with families from out of town.
The Cutler family hails from Olympia, Washington, and visited family in Sacramento over the Memorial Day weekend. Olivia reached out to me over a month ago after finding me on Google and reading my reviews. She wanted to get family photos done during their trip since it's rare for her and her husband to have time off work simultaneously.
Olivia chose Jack Hill Park for their family portrait session and was particularly interested in capturing the golden hour light in the evening. I was thrilled to meet them. When David, Olivia, and their adorable daughter Sylvee arrived, we began chatting like old friends. They were incredibly laid-back, creating a relaxed and fun atmosphere during the session.
Sweet Sylvee stole the show with her rambunctious, playful energy. The Cutlers did a fantastic job with their outfit choices, selecting a color palette of light blues and creams that coordinated beautifully. The images truly capture the fun and playful side of this lovely family, who wanted their photos to be natural and interactive.
I love how the photos turned out, and it was wonderful to meet and work with the beautiful Cutler family.
