One thing I’ve noticed about senior guys' photo sessions is that most of them aren’t exactly thrilled to be there. They all say the same thing: “I’m here for my mom.” I love that they’re willing to step out of their comfort zones to make their moms happy. What always surprises me is how much they end up enjoying the session, with natural poses, stances, and smiles. Austin’s senior session at West 12 Ranch was no different.
At first, Austin was just going through the motions. But then, boy, did he warm up! We had an absolute blast exploring the ranch and snapping photos. His mom and dad were there to help out, and they were such a pleasure to interact with. Austin was especially excited to include his Mustang in the session, and it was a fantastic choice. The location and lighting were perfect, and you could see how proud he was of the car and how thrilled he was to have it featured in his photos. We even managed to capture some shots of him with Hawk, one of the horses on the ranch.
Austin kept his outfits casual with just a few changes. He started with a preppy look: tan pants, a white undershirt with rolled-up sleeves, and a blue sweater. Then, he switched into jeans and a black t-shirt. His mom wanted to include his graduation cords and sashes, along with his cap. They decided to skip the gown to keep things less formal.
Austin graduated from Bradshaw Christian High School last week and is heading into a welding trade. Congratulations, Austin, on your graduation! I know you have a wonderful future ahead of you!
