Family Portraits at Jack Hill Park in Elk Grove, Ca.

I don’t always get to do large extended family portrait sessions, but this was a fun group to work with.  I had the opportunity to work with Ashleigh and her husband, Josh, last year when I did his side of the families extended family session.  I was so thrilled when Ashleigh reached out and asked to do it for her side of the family. The session included her parents, her family, and her two brothers’ families.  Because of the impending weather we had to play “chase the time of the rain game”.   We ended up doing the session in the middle of the day, right during nap time, lol not to mention it was pretty cold outside.  So, you can only imagine how challenging it was to try to get a 6 year old, a 3 year old, two 2 year old’s, and a 2 month old to all be happy and look at the camera.  However, I really like how these turned out and feel we got some good ones.  Plus they show that life happens and we roll with the flow!
