Welcoming Jordan Travis Myers: A Newborn Session with Personalized Themes

I recently had the pleasure of welcoming little Jordan Travis Myers into the studio with a newborn session packed full of special, thoughtful themes! Born on October 13, 2024, at 4:35 pm, Jordan entered the world at 7 lbs. 9 oz and 20 inches long, filling his parents, Jonathan and Dora, with immeasurable joy.
Dora’s vision for Jordan’s session made every setup a celebration of their family’s love and personality. We started with a charming fisherman theme (Dad loves fishing), complete with a little boat Dora brought along, a fisherman’s outfit, and a special “catch of the day” chalkboard that added a fun, personalized touch. Jordan looked like the cutest little angler!
Next, we transformed the space for a sweet Winnie the Pooh setup. With an adorable Pooh outfit, plush characters, and a hand-crafted crochet honeypot, this setup was simply enchanting. We nestled Jordan in a prop bowl shaped like a hollow tree—perfect for capturing his tiny, peaceful moments in this storybook scene.
Our final theme was a cozy Christmas setup. Dora chose beautiful forest green and maroon wraps that perfectly complemented the festive feel, along with fairy lights and delicate ornaments for a soft, holiday glow.
We also took the opportunity to capture some timeless family moments. Jonathan and Dora glowed with pride as they held their new son, and we even included Jordan’s grandparents for a few precious generational photos. Every image holds such warmth, and I’m thrilled with how this session turned out!
This session was a wonderful reminder of how meaningful it is to include themes that are special to each family, and it’s always a joy to see the love parents bring to their sessions. Welcome to the world, Jordan! We can’t wait to see you grow and thrive.
