Pink, Floral, and Perfect: Lylah Marie’s Newborn Photography Experience
Newborn Photos | Elk Grove, California
There’s something so magical about capturing a newborn’s first days, and little Lylah Marie Whitfield’s session was no exception. Born on October 30, 2024, at 9:16 PM, Lylah weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and measured 20 inches long. She’s already lighting up her family’s world, and I had the honor of documenting her photography debut last week in my studio.
A Sweet Session Full of Girly Charm
When Lylah’s mom, Stephanie, reached out to book her newborn session, she had a clear vision: pink, girly, and floral. From the moment Lylah arrived, I knew we were about to create something special. She was an absolute doll, patiently going through all the wraps, outfits, and props we had planned. From delicate floral headbands to soft, cozy wraps in shades of blush, every detail was chosen to highlight her sweet personality and Stephanie’s beautiful vision.
One of my favorite setups featured Lylah resting peacefully on a soft floral backdrop. The pastel tones and feminine touches were everything mom had dreamed of and more.
A Heartwarming Father-Daughter Moment
Lylah’s dad was such a great help throughout the session, making sure everything ran smoothly. Toward the end, he joined in for a touching pose that quickly became one of my favorites. We captured a stunning black-and-white portrait of Dad cradling Lylah in his arms. The image perfectly symbolizes the special bond between a father and his daughter—his protective embrace surrounding his tiny angel.
Why Newborn Photography Brings Me Joy
There’s something indescribable about photographing newborns. They remind us just how precious and fleeting these early days are. Every tiny yawn, stretch, and smile is a moment worth cherishing forever. Working with Lylah and her family reminded me once again why I love what I do.
To Lylah’s family, thank you for trusting me to capture these memories. I hope these photos bring you joy for years to come!
