Thanksgiving week is all about togetherness, and the Enriquez family brought that spirit to their family portrait session at Camden Lake Park. When Rebecca first reached out to schedule their session back in the summer, she had one goal in mind: capturing a special moment while all her daughters were together. With one of them heading off to college, the holidays became the perfect opportunity.
We chose Camden Lake Park for its serene beauty, and it did not disappoint! The day before our session, Elk Grove experienced a stormy, rainy day. But when we met up, the sun was shining golden, and the fall foliage was putting on its best display. The vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows created a picture-perfect backdrop, as if nature itself had planned for their session.
What stood out most during the session was the Enriquez family's love for one another. They were playful, full of laughter, and their interactions were so genuine. Ricardo, the dad, had everyone laughing with his jokes and good-natured teasing. It was heartwarming to see how much joy he brought to the session. Rebecca had selected beautiful fall-inspired outfits for everyone, and the colors popped perfectly against the autumn scenery.
Photographing this family was such a joy. Their connection, their laughter, and the love they share radiated through every photo. These moments reminded me why I love family sessions so much—they're about freezing time, celebrating togetherness, and creating something special to treasure forever.
