Last week, I had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the adorable Elio into my studio for his first-ever photo session. Let me tell you, he was a bundle of joy! His mom, Daisy, had been in touch with me a few months prior to his arrival, eager to secure a spot on my calendar. Elio decided to make his grand entrance a tad earlier than expected, blessing his parents, Daisy and Parminder, with his presence on April 4th at 3:29pm, weighing in at a cuddly 6lbs 12oz and measuring 19½” long.
Daisy had some fantastic ideas brewing in her mind for Elio's portraits, and I was thrilled to bring them to life. One of her concepts, which quickly became a favorite of mine, involved Elio nestled on a shelf, surrounded by cuddly teddy bears, sporting an adorable teddy costume. The final result was absolutely precious, capturing his innocence and charm in every frame.
Another special moment Daisy had envisioned was capturing Elio in the loving embrace of his father's hands. Despite a few initial protests from the little one, we persisted, and eventually, we captured that heartwarming shot that Daisy and Parminder adored.
Working with newborns like Elio is an absolute dream. Their innocence, their delicate features, every little movement - it all comes together to create magic behind the lens. These sessions aren't just about capturing images; they're about freezing moments in time, creating memories that families will cherish for a lifetime.
For me, being able to play, cuddle, and capture these fleeting moments is not just a job; it's a passion. Seeing the joy on parents' faces as they gaze upon their precious little one immortalized in a photograph - that's what makes every moment of this journey worthwhile. I'm grateful to Daisy and Parminder for trusting me to be a part of their story with Elio, and I can't wait to see what adventures await them in the years to come.
