Adventures with Harrison: A Surprise Mother's Day Photo Session!

What an absolute blast capturing memories with the lively and charming almost 4-year-old, Harrison Drew Dryer! His energy was contagious, making the session an absolute joy from start to finish. When Harrison's dad, Dustin, reached out to arrange a session as a heartfelt Mother's Day surprise for his wife, I couldn't wait to be a part of it.
Despite Dustin's best efforts to keep the surprise under wraps, circumstances had other plans, and the secret slipped out. Dustin had to travel for work and so Harrison’s mom and grandparents tagged in and brought Harrison to the session. Dad had chosen Camden Lake Park as our backdrop, and it proved to be the perfect setting for Harrison's playful spirit to shine through in every shot.
Throughout the session, Harrison kept us entertained with his lively chatter and boundless curiosity. While we managed to capture some precious moments of him posing for the camera, his attention was often captured by the sights and sounds of the park – from the adorable geese and their fluffy babies to the thrill of watching boys whiz by on bikes.
Despite the unexpected turn of events, the session was a resounding success, filled with laughter and cherished moments. Meeting Harrison's mom and grandparents was a delightful bonus, and I'm sure they'll treasure the memories we captured for years to come. While the surprise may not have gone according to plan, the gift of these timeless memories is a testament to Dustin's love and thoughtfulness, ensuring that this Mother's Day will be one to remember forever.
